Katherine Rycroft has a BBA from Malaspina College and a M.Ed. from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently enrolled in VIU’s BEd post bacc. program. Although the focus of her studies is Education, she thinks that literature is of vital importance in today’s complex world.

Perfect Pitch: Gift or Curse?

Keith's teaching experience has been wide-ranging, from McGill University to Leclerc Penitentiary. His teaching philosophy is that "a word is a bridge thrown between myself and another" (Valentin Voloshinov). He has taught a variety of courses and workshops at Vancouver Island University over the past twenty-five years, with an emphasis on creative writing, Canadian literature, Shakespeare, and film.
Alexandra Dawley (Bachelor of Arts '13 in Global Studies and Sociology) was selected to become a Rotary Ambassador Scholar after completing her undergraduate degree at VIU. On full scholarship, she pursued a Social Development Master of Arts Degree at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.

Vancouver Island University, Bachelor of Interior Design
The Bachelor of Interior Design program at Vancouver Island University is full-time degree program. Students complete a total of 129 credits over 4 years with an internship between the 3rd and 4th years of studies.
The following data was collected using institutional records and an alumni survey that was administered approx. 10 months after the class of 2024 graduated.
