Vancouver Island University’s Department of Art and Design is pleased to announce our Visiting Artist and Designer Series. At various times throughout the academic year, artists visit the campus to give public presentations on their work. The visiting artist talks are free of charge and members of the University community and public are encouraged to attend. The Visiting Artist and Designer Series is a wonderful opportunity to view the work of contemporary artists working in a variety of media--from drawing and painting, sculpture and installation, to video and stop-motion animation--and whose art practices address a broad range of interests and issues.
