Dear Music Students,

Following up on the message, "Student Update for Our Fall Semester", sent out by Deb Saucier, PhD, President and Vice-chancellor, the Vancouver Island University Music Department is committed to continuing to provide its students with a diverse and comprehensive music program at VIU.

About URPEP

The Urban and Regional Planning Extension Program (URPEP) will be of interest to current VIU graduate students and mid-Island area planning professionals interested in taking a series of courses that will expand their knowledge base in a fast-paced learning environment.

These courses will also be certified through PIBC and will qualify as Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) credits for Registered Professional Planners.

Marshall Soules (BA Middlebury; MA/PhD Rutgers) was an instructor at VIU (formerly Malaspina) from 1987 to 2009. Previously, he taught at various universities and colleges; owned and operated Raincoast Construction (Vancouver); and promoted music and dance in the Lower Mainland.
