Student Fees

Instructors will send, to AcctsRec@viu.ca, lists of the student names and student numbers, what fee each is to be charged and for what purpose, and the cost centre to be credited.

Accounts Receivable will preload the charge to the student record. 

The students then will pay via online banking.

Online banking instructions for students

  • Access your bank website and sign into your personal bank account.
  • Go to Bill Payments
  • Add a Payee
  • Search Vancouver Island University
  • Account Number: enter your student number without spaces or extra characters
  • Go to Bill Payments and select Vancouver Island University to make payments
